The Oahu Sea Life Park is a place where Hawaii puts their amazing marine life on display. It is located 15 miles from Makapuu Point and in between Koolan Mountain Range and Makapuu Beach. All of these destinations are beautiful and a tourist point. Oahu Sealife Park not only has attractions that are amazing, they are also educational. You can learn about aquatic life and how all of it was discovered. There are even hands on activities such as swimming with the dolphins and be right up close and personal with Sea Lions! The park has a play area with a pirate ship as well as numerous shows that showcase the talents of these creatures of the sea. Be careful, you could end up getting wet if you sit in the wet zone during shows! The park is open daily from 9:30am until 5:00pm. This gives you and your guests a while to explore all that Oahu Sea Life Park has to offer. A popular show is the Hawaiian Ocean Theater because it involves 2 of the most beloved aquatic life forms; the dolphin and penguin. They perform on a stage and the trainers show you the latest training ways as well as how the park conserves energy. For the kids, the Pirate Lagoon is a great spot. Here the kids will be able to go through a huge pirate ship play area that includes a maze and more. They will be entertained for hours! |
