Spread out those hot coals and see who can stand the heat.

Many people have some form of roast pork and pineapple at their Luau, but you can but a little twist on it by serving up Hawaiian pizza or pork and pineapple Kabobs. Or serve up some traditional food for guests to try. Laulau is a combination of pork, chicken, beef and/or fish wrapped up in Ti leaves and baked in an underground oven. You can replace the Ti leaves in this dish with spinach leaves and set them in the coals of the grill after wrapping in foil. This could be an excellent appetizer with a sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
