Luau Word Scramble

One of the greatest word games is Word Scramble. If you can use words that have to do with a luau, then you�ve got a great game for your guests to play and enjoy.

Word Scramble can be played a number of ways, but if you get each of your guests involved in it, then they can all have fun playing together. Give each of your guests a few pieces of paper, and have them write down a word on it. On the other side of the sheet of paper, they will scramble the word so that it is not recognizable at all to the other guests. They will each have a turn. When it comes to their turn, the guest holds up the scrambled word to his audience and the other guests have to try and guess what the word is. The one who gets it right first, gets a lei. And, of course, the one with the most leis at the end should win a prize.

Some words that you might want to use in your Word Scramble game for a luau party are �luau�, �pineapple�, �mango�, �coconut�, �hula�, �feast�, �dancers�, and �poi�. Sometimes the simpler the word, the tougher it is, and this will get your guests laughing. And you might want to use word combinations to make it more interesting, like �hula skirt�, �coconut bra�, �hula dancer�, or �roast pig�.

Another way to play is for each one of your guests, in turn, to come up to the front of their audience at a chalk board. The scrambled word can be written on it, so that everyone can see it more clearly. And the prizes might be something like a bag of sunscreen products, a coconut bra as a joke gift, or a hula skirt. This game is sure to keep your guests having fun.
